The Post-Image Research Cluster is excited to present this workshop with artist and commercial photographer Paul Litherland. Strobe lighting was developed as a way of freezing action and controlling depth of field in photography. This workshop will give participants an opportunity to break the rules. Join us next Monday, May 8th at 3pm in the Post Image Cluster for a presentation by Leisure (Meredith Carruthers and Susannah Wesley), and Althea Thauburger! “Artists Animate the Expo 67 Archives” will highlight artists’ processes of working in/with archives by presenting discussing, and reflecting on three artists research-creation processes. These artists are contributing to In Search of Expo 67 at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (June 21 to October 8, 2017) co-curated by Lesley Johnstone and Monika Kin Gagnon, an exhibition of new works and several archival multi-screen films.
